Malinska

Malinska is located on the west coast of island Krk, and it's 15 kilometers from island Krk bridge. Road infrastructure allows travellers to arrive in Malinska very safe and fast.
Malinska is center of region Dubašnica which has 19 smaller villages. First time mentioned in XV. century when was bulilt first mill (croatian Mlin) after whom got name Malinska. Development of the city begun in XVIII. with building of the port. First tourists arrived in the end of the XIX. Century. Special meaning to Malinska is Saint Mary's Frankopan church located on Porat, a small picturesque town only a few kilometers from Malinska.

Variety of sports activities will satisfy everyone, from little kids to senior visitors. Hotels offer their own facilities and programs, such as tennis, bowling, horse riding, mini golf or water sports, but most of those are availabe for individual guest that are situated in private accomodation.

Beaches are mostly concrete in the whole city. We would like to point out night life in Malinska which is in popular discotheque Crossroad. Promenade "Rajska Cesta" is few kilometers long; goes from Malinska to Njivice, starts after ex hotel complex Haludovo. Promenade is suitable also for cycling.
